Krachtig en Compact.

Intussen heb ik de USG-router, een de 8 poorts Switch met POE, de Cloud key (een locale micro-server die het netwerk beheert) en meerdere Access Points. Het beheer is op deze manier erg overzichtelijk. Dit is semi professioneel materiaal waardoor er heel veel kan worden ingesteld / bepaald, maar dat hoeft niet. Men kan het ook bij de basale instellingen houden De radio's voor beide frequenties hebben ook een wat zendvermogen, maar dit vermogen kan worden ingesteld naar behoefte ( te harde signalen veroorzaken slechts interferentie op je volgende cel). Het ontwerp is compact; vergeleken met de AC-pro is dat echt wel kleiner. De Nano HD heeft net als alle andere Ubiquiti APs ledverlichting, ziet er misschien leuk uit, maar het kan ook uit, valt de Nano HD niet meer zo op. Ik heb nu op elke etage van ons huis een Ubiquiti Access point en heb nu een perfecte dekking . NB standaard staat mesh-verbinding aan. Op zich niet erg, maar dan duiken er "Hidden SSIDs" op. Maakt op zich niets uit voor de werking etc. Maar kan verwarrend werken. Dit systeem is nuttig wanneer er een serie van Acces points wordt gebruikt en de een met de ander is doorverbonden met het Lan. Niet nodig? Uitzetten maakt het weer wat overzichtelijker, vooral als je een wifi Analyzer gebruikt.
